These Terms of Use govern your use of holisticpathwaylegal.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. They apply to visitors and inquiries only. A consulting engagement is governed by a separate signed engagement agreement, which controls if it conflicts with these terms.
1. Who this Site is for
The Site describes legal nurse consulting services offered to attorneys, law firms, insurers and other legal professionals. It is not intended for patients seeking medical care or individuals seeking legal representation.
2. We are not a law firm
Holistic Pathways Legal Advisors is a legal nurse consulting practice, not a law firm. We are not attorneys, we do not practice law, and we do not give legal advice, evaluate legal claims for the public, or represent anyone. Our clinical work is performed for, and at the direction of, licensed attorneys, who remain responsible for all legal judgments in their matters. If you need legal advice, please consult a licensed attorney in your state.
3. Not medical advice
Content on the Site is general information about legal nurse consulting. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not create a nurse-patient or provider-patient relationship. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.
4. No relationship until a signed engagement
Browsing the Site, submitting the contact form, calling, emailing or messaging us does not create a consulting, attorney-client, nurse-patient or other professional relationship. A relationship begins only when we accept a matter in a signed engagement agreement, after a conflict check.
Information you send before an engagement is not privileged or confidential just because you sent it to us. We handle inquiries discreetly and use them to check for conflicts, but please share only the minimum facts needed: the case type, parties for conflict purposes, jurisdiction and approximate record volume. Do not send medical records or patient identifiers. We may decline any matter, including for a conflict of interest.
5. Integrity of opinions
All clinical opinions, findings and reports we provide are based solely and honestly on the records and information actually reviewed for that engagement. No finding, statistic, citation or opinion is fabricated or misrepresented. Where records are incomplete, ambiguous or insufficient to support a conclusion, the report says so plainly instead of filling the gap with assumption. Opinions reflect the reviewing clinician's professional judgment at the time of review and may be revised if additional or corrected records are provided. Our fees are never contingent on the outcome of a case or the content of an opinion.
6. Credentials, rates and results
- Credentials and experience described on the Site are accurate as of the date above. License and certification verification is available on request.
- Rates on the Site are typical ranges for information only, not an offer. Pricing is set in each engagement agreement.
- Descriptions of services, case types or experience do not guarantee any outcome. Every matter turns on its own facts and records.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by submitting false or another person's information, sending malware or spam, attempting unauthorized access, scraping the Site in bulk, or using it in violation of any law.
8. Intellectual property
The Site's text, graphics, logos and design are owned by Holistic Pathways Legal Advisors or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without written permission, except for quoting brief excerpts with attribution and a link.
9. Links to other sites
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of third-party sites linked from the Site.
10. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Holistic Pathways Legal Advisors is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute about the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.
12. Changes and contact
